My Toshiba laptop is a monster of a screen @ 17" and I am VERY happy with this laptop messenger bag. It is well padded and adjustable. The best part...multiple pockets and organization and the bag is big enough that it didn't look bulky when I threw some office supplies, the power cord, a book, and a few other little things!!!

This is the Goldie Locks of laptop bags. I have the 15 in MacBook Pro
Well made, eco friendly, lifetime guarantee, and not so heavy. I have loved some of the MacBook Pro (15 in) bags I have tried but they either didn't have enough compartments or weren't stylish enough or were just too heavy empty much less loaded up. I really liked the quality of the Mobile Edge bags but the ones I ordered were so heavy and large empty I couldn't imagine carrying one packed full. But let this be a lesson and never give up what you want because if you are patient as much as you are picky you will find your Goldie Locks bag and this may be it. THE BEST LAPTOP BAG EVER!!
I bought this bag after discovering that my Mac Book Pro 15" did not fit into any laptop case i tried. I wanted something with pink (i'm a pink girl) and that would safely and securely hold my almost $3000 computer! I found everything i couldve asked for and more with this bag. My 15" MacBook fits with room on the side, has a flap that velcros to secure your laptop in the bag, it has pockets galore, and it wipes clean in a second! That's right, I liked this laptop backpack/case so much that when the first one was stolen last month, I bought an identical replacement. I'm a 66-year old woman who went back to grad school last year and realized that I needed something other than the canvas bookbag we used "back in the day." For one thing, we didn't have laptops forty-five years ago and nobody used a backpack except for camping & hiking. So not only was I looking for something functional, but also something "like the other kids had." But my tastes have changed a little, too, over the years, and I wanted something unique, sophisticated, comfortable. great backpack, I get many compliments!
I bought this backpack because I found that carrying my work laptop in a shoulderbag briefcase was causing me huge shoulder problems. This backback is well designed - it holds my 7-lb 17" monitor laptop and I sometimes wonder if the laptop is even in there it's so comfortable! The straps are a bit widely placed, so if you have narrow shoulders it might be hard to use - they are also made of typical backpack material and if you are wearing a tank top you might get a bit of rubbing on your shoulders where the strap touches your skin.

The backpack has one large padded pocket that holds your laptop and that has easy access through a top zipper (that goes all the way down the sides), and then another full length pocked under the "flap" that gets held in place by the small silver buckle - you can put a few files or papers in here (I wouldn't plan on putting in full file in here). Stylish, not too big, not too small... love it!
I've been looking for a stylish lightweight laptop backpack and this is it. I must have over 10 bags in my office trying to find the right one. Leather is too heavy and the shoulder bags simply are uncomfortable if you carry it for too long. This bag looks great and the pictures downplay the style to it. It has silver and pink stripes but you can't really tell in the picture. There are tons of compartments. There is even a small zippered area that when open has a mesh pocket for a water bottle. So when you aren't carrying a water bottle you don't have that mesh thing hanging off. It comes with a small bag inside you can use for your power cord or little things. You won't be disappointed in this bag at all. However I bought the sleeve that matched and it's too big for my M1330 so I'm not sure what I'll do with that. I bought it so when I didn't want to carry the whole bag, I could use that but really the bag is so compact, I don't see when I'd mind carrying it.

Cute and Functional!
I LOVE this bag! I have had other laptop bags that have been large and bulky making them awkward to carry and most of them are hideous. This one is cute and feminine, which is hard to find sometimes. The many different pockets make it a very versatile for day-to-day use. I use it for school, which is great because it can carry my laptop and my school books and supplies, but I imagine it would be great as a carry-on bag for travel as well. I highly recommend this item!

Cute and Quality!
I just bought a new laptop and wanted something I could carry it, my Kindle, writing pads, phone, etc. in, when I travel and also just going about town. This is the perfect size. It holds my 15.4 in laptop with room to spare, has another wide space for books (could hold maybe two college sized textbooks, plus a spiral notebook) It has lots of other pockets, and neat places to put things. i love this bag! i just recieved it in the mail (two days earlier than anticipated!) and it is great! there are so many pockets i have found myself looking for stuff to put in them! plus, it fits my huge 19" laptop! i was afraid the size would be a bit small but it is perfect, and very cute also! i highly recommend this product, but not for computers bigger than mine because the fit is snug, but it works better than any other bag i have owned (they all fall apart because of the size of my laptop).

Security friendly, not so much on the features
This is my second Case Logic "security friendly" piece of luggage, and like the CLCS-116 over-the-shoulder messenger type bag, the CLBS-116 backpack has a lot of nice features but seems to be missing a lot of the every day features you expect with most laptop bags.

Of the many laptop backpacks I've owned, the OGIO Metro Backpack and discontinued Samsonite Rafter are my top two favorite, so I use them as a baseline for comparison purposes. Compared to those two bags, this Case Logic is firmly planted on the "Spartan" side of the fence. It's very low on features, but what it does, it does well. Most of what I said in my Case Logic 16-Inch Full-Size Security Friendly Laptop Case (CLCS-116) can be repeated here for much of the pro's and con's carry through to this backpack model - with a few changes.

Function Comes First
The only problem I have with this backpack is that it is a little dorky looking. Very plain looking, all black with matte silver zippers. Other then that, this is a great backpack!

As someone who lugs around a decent sized widescreen laptop, this is exactly the kind of laptop you would like to have. The rear portion of the backpack contains a padded area for you to store your laptop. Padded as to not damage the computer and to not cause you any discomfort also the lining of this pocket is soft as to not scratch any of the surfaces of your laptop.

The bag features a zipper that basically allows you to split the backpack in half and lay it down flat for scanning through the x-ray machine at airports. This of course is nice since you aren't pulling out your laptop and tossing it in one of those dirty gray bins and getting it scratched, etc..

The front half of the bag contains three other pockets, a smaller one on the front, a slightly larger one...
Handsome, sturdy and (mostly) smartly designed, but with one annoying (and major) design flaw

This fast becomes extremely annoying; as a result, if you are going to be using this bag as something other than a laptop backpack or if you tend to travel heavy, I'd recommend you look elsewhere. However, if you tend to travel lightly, this is worth picking up... especially at Amazon.com's current price point.

Nice bag
The bag looks great, especially the pink stitching. However, the bag is larger than I had imagined vertically but the width of the bag is great for putting extra stuff in with the laptop. Lightweight & chic, but saggs with a book, power adapter, flats, & empty tumbler!
I've been using a 5-year old, discontinued Timbuk2 laptop backpack that was too heavy even without putting things inside it. Coincidentally, this tote solves the material weight factor, but introduces the new issue of sagging upon added weight. The seams are stretching a bit, and I begin to see the inside color showing through, too. When I carry my laptop, I usually have a 9 x 12 sketchbook, power adapter, empty 16 oz tumbler, and a pair of flats with me. This bag does the job of hauling all of that while I walk 3 miles to work as my morning exercise! I love the lightweight neoprene and the wider handle design, which holds my things together. The frame of its interior could use some reinforced lining of a less stretchable material, though. Overall, it does the job quite fashionably!

This bag is MUCH larger. I double checked these sizes with Built and this bag is indeed 18.2 x 22.4 x 5 inches.

Fits My Needs
I finally decided on this bag because my husband insisted. I thought it was a bit pricey, but I know little about computer bags myself. It fits my 15.6 Asus perfectly in the protected spot and also my notebooks and pens. I can put my power cord in there as well, although I have to put it in as two pieces. I love the outer pockets for things. It is a big bag, but I guess I have to expect that if it will hold my laptop and other writing tools. Great buy, I am very pleased.

Be careful with Plane Travel
I have this bag and it is OK. I had to purchase a bag that was large enough for my computer but was fashionable and did not have the look of a computer bag. While the bag holds all of my items, it is too large to fit under the seat on many airplanes. I have to be very careful when sitting near the landing gear or traveling on a regional jet. Also, the material on the handles frayed and now the zipper is broken.

This may seem strange
This may seem strange but I'm returning This Mobile Edge Komen Eco-Friendly Tote Black with Pink Trim and at the same time awarding a 5 star rating. Consider this rating for both the Tote and Amazon. 1st the Mobile Edge Komen Tote, it looks to be extremely well made, well designed and a remark from my wife the person I purchased it for "near perfect and attractive". The problem my wife has a small frame and felt the bag was to big for her. Quite frankly if it did not have pink trim I would have kept it for myself to replace a $270.00 bag I use and will leave unnamed. Now in reference to the way Amazon handled the return of an item that I should have considered the size before purchases. It was without doubt the easiest most user friendly system I have ever encountered, I'm 65 years old so I have been around this block more then a few times. Just awesome
There is nothing really to say. This bag is amazing, it can hold my 17.9 inches laptop and my calculus book at the same time and there is still more room. I really don't regret buying it.
This is perfect for my needs!
We go to work every day and there are some things we need that just doesn't fit in a purse. I want a bag that will hold my lunch and shoes (who walks in their good pumps). I have purchased MANY bags before finding this one. The two front pockets are perfect for eyeglasses, pens and other small items.
