Excellent Product for its Intended Purpose!
I've been using this satchel for about two weeks and so far, I'm very happy with it. It does what its supposed to do very well. Another reviewer said that it's "ridiculously small" and that "you'll find it impossible to squeeze in small folding headphones or even a pair of sunglasses. The iPhone pocket won't accommodate the iPhone 4 with popular cases such as the Otterbox Defender". I disagree with these statements in part. I can fit my iPad 2, ear buds, and rather large sunglasses case quite nicely. When contemplating whether to purchase this satchel, please keep in mind that it's not a book bag, backpack or brief case. It's called the "Prostyle Satchel for iPad" for a reason. Also, the pocket for the cell phone fits my iPhone perfectly. I agree that the pocket probably wouldn't accomodate an iPhone with a Otterbox case. However, unless Brenthaven incorporated an elastic pocket, a pocket designed for the Otterbox would be too large for an iPhone with a slimmer case...

excellent quality, good design
I have used this with my iPad 2 for three months and have been well pleased. I particularly approve of the plush material incorporated into the main and cell phone pockets. The cell pocket is a tight fit with my OtterBox iPhone 4 Commuter case, so anything larger simply won't fit. The strap, as has been mentioned in earlier reviews, is the weakest link in this product. One may well consider an attachable shoulder strap pad to alleviate this condition. I will probably purchase from Brenthaven again.
Near Perfect iPad Bag
I have used this Brenthaven bag for a few months and like it better than any other I have found, especially the smaller cases and sleeves that are so prevalent. Many of us want to consolidate our iPad and its few accessories (charger and 2 adapters for me) in one place rather than separate them into two bags as you must do if using only a sleeve. Additionally, there's still room a pen and notepad and perhaps a couple of other small essentials. The bag is thoughtfully small, not "ridiculously" small. Smaller ones won't hold my accessories. Larger ones defeat the purpose of having traveling light with an iPad rather than a laptop. The strap is thin, light and serviceable. After all, I'm not using it for hiking. I have examined dozens of bags since buying this one and would not swap it for any of them.

I actually bought it at the local Dillard's store
I do love this case but I have a keyboard I like to use with my iPad and its kinda odd that I cannot simp,y place my keyboard anywhere inside of the case with my IPad. The product doesn't fit exactly to my iPad (I have an iPad 2) and I'm constantly having to readjust it to fit so that I can at least reach my home button. Looks great beautiful really but could've used some revising on the functionality.

pretty but not a great fit
Art work is beautiful but the openings for connections dont fit great. Kinda disappointing that i will have to find another. Sak roots has many other pretty products in wallets and purses but i dont recommend buying this cover because i dont feel the ipad is secure inside.
Made for Beauty, not Utility
This is a great looking product although I was disappointed it didn't look exactly as shown...the phrase "born into peace" shown in the picture was nowhere to be found. It doesn't fit the device too well and the home button can get covered up as a result. I ordered it as a gift because of the bright graphics and wanted something different...and that it is. I have another SAK Roots folio cover on my own iPad and I have problems with it falling apart on the interior. The pleather fabric has a tendency to peel away from the structure. I've glued it several times but it continues to happen. It's a beautiful exterior cover and great conversation piece but its not made to last.

Really nice iPad case
Fits my iPad 4th generation perfectly. I love the quilted look. Reminds me of a high end brand that starts with a C. Love the shiny pearl white color. It's unique, elegant and works great! If you are worried about it getting dirty on the outside, it looks easy to clean because of the material used. I would recommend this product. Also, received it quickly.

Love this!
I use the bodhi for my iPad 3, and was hoping to find something as nice for my mini, I took a chance on this one by Belkin and it's better then I expected. It's made very well and holds the mini perfectly secure, I may get another one. The material is also a surprise, I thought it might be cheap looking but not at all, much better quality then I expected. I can also reach all the buttons with no problem and charging the mini is also not a problem while in the case.
Nice and fits in my wifes purse!
My wife realy like it and it fits in her purse nicely. The cover holds the I Pad Mini nicely and looks good. A little on the pricey side, however I think this one is a keeper!

Exactly what I was looking for
This is the perfect ipad case for my needs, as a lawyer and ipad junkie. Its various compartments are big enough to carry things other than just the ipad, though not anything as large as a full-size notepad. I didn't buy it to carry such large items though. If I wanted that I would have looked for a larger and bulkier bag. This is perfect to carry the ipad, its wireless keyboard, various cables, business cards, pens, and even hard-copy documents if I can fold them.

The strap is also perfect, because it can be shortened or lengthened as needed.

Great Padfolio with two flaws
It's a great leather folio because it has a zipper, AND you can put an "ultrathin" keyboard of your choice into the padfolio, such as a Zagg or a Logitech! I've tried putting one of these keyboards into this padfolio without any problems. It's a snug fit but one can easily zip the case shut. Your iPad fits snuggly into a harness. You close a satin like materail over the Ipad harness and place your keyboard face down under the cover, close the padfolio and zip it shut.

The flaws are the sleep/awake magnet is too weak to automatically turn the iPad on/off. The solution is to go to a hobby/craft store and buy a stronger and bigger magnet about the size of a penny for $1.00. Place it over the cover's magnet and test it. If you are satisfied, tape it to the cover with double sided tape.

The other flaw is there is no hole in the cover below the iPad harness for the Ipad camera lens to peep out of so you can take a video or photo without completely removing the...

Nice Product!
This is a well made product that meets the needs of those of us who still want to have pen and paper handy. It's a little heavy to carry in a tote or handbag, but is perfect if you use it as a single, comprehensive organizer & iPad cover.

iLove this bag and so does my iPad ~ ~ ~
Wow, I can't say enough good things about this bag. I wanted a cross-body/shoulder bag to carry my iPad3 when I travel. Most importantly, I wanted one big enough to hold my iPad INSIDE ITS CASE - not naked. Many iPad bags out there will accommodate a naked iPad, but not one inside a case. But this one accomodates my covered iPad nicely, and slides easily in and out of the compartment without too much space left around it - but still snug enough that it doesn't rattle around.

Between the microfiber lining and the outer fabric of the iPad compartment, are two protective layers of high-density foam - strong enough to protect the iPad, but thin enough keep it from being bulky. A layer of foam like this on both the front and back definitely qualifies as serious protection, and you can rest easy that your iPad can survive some bumps or scrapes. Good iPad bag...
I was very selective in choosing this bag. I did a lot of research before deciding to buy it. This bag is perfect size/comfy fit for my iPad (first generation). It has 3 main compartments and has a large flat pocket on the back. The bag is very light and comes with 2 padded handles that make the bag comfortable to carry by hand and a strap with padded shoulder fitting so the bag can be worn around your shoulder. I removed the strap and find the bag is small and light enough to easily carry by hand. The handles also have their own pockets to be tucked in when not being used (smart design). The largest compartment, which holds the iPad or other small electronic devices, is lined with a soft fabric which covers a sturdy foam material inside (smart design) and has 2 zippers on the outside. The second compartment has 2 zippers for access, 2 flat pockets inside to hold small papers, 2 pockets for pens/pencils, and a small screened, flat pocket probably for ID or other small cards, and a...
Extremely useful
I tried several sizes of these by STM to carry my Ipad 2 on an airplane. I have my Ipad 2 in a Yoobao leather case which I like very much. I didn't want to remove it in order to fit in in a case. I wanted the case large enough to carry the essentials when I go through airport security, so it is easy to load and unload everything from one place...liquids, ipad, etc. I also want it to be able to carry my headphones, pen, and a few odds and end. The Stash was the perfect fit for all of this.

I tried the STM Jacket, but it was too small for the Ipad with Yoobao case, and not big enough to fit anything else it....pockets were too tight.

I bought the STASH and easily fits the Ipad 2 with Yoobao leather case. I can fit the liquids in plastic bag in one compartment along with pen, candy, etc. I fit the headphones in the other compartment. It makes it easy to go through airport security, and easy to have all I need while at my seat in the airplane...

Best iPad bag ever
I bought this bag for my iPad and I am extremely happy with it. My ipad has a Targus Truss case on it and the ipad with the case fits perfectly. It's hard to find a bag that will fit the ipad with such a case, but this one does with no problem. The bag is constructed very well and also looks really good. There are so many pockets in this bag it is unbelievable. I am able to fit my iPad, my Apple wireless keyboard, and my Griffin Aframe stand as well as all of my cables and accessories. I still haven't even used all of the pockets, plenty of room to grow for future accessories. I have searched hard for the perfect ipad bag and now I have found it. I would recommend this bag to anyone with an iPad.

Functional to carry an iPad but the build quality does not hold up
The outside texture has a nylon feel, with a heavy enough density to protect my pocket camera and iPad 2 from minor dents and dings. I was skeptical about the orange interior and came to like it because a small object in the bottom does not disappear.

After only a few months (three or four) something poked me. A pencil perhaps? I looked and there is a hole the size of a dime and something sharp - not a pencil and not in a pocket - sewn in to the flap was a sharp, loose metal strip that wore a hole in the material and jabbed me. There is not a magnetic closure, and the function of the metal strip is not obvious to me. I pulled it out and continued to use the bag for a total of six or seven months before the quality continued to degrade and the bag no longer looked nice enough to carry in a professional environment.

It looks nice, but the quality just does not last.
Nice bag!
Plus point for having 2 zipper pocket and lots of compartments, even on the side! I fit in my iPad in a CyberAccoustic leather folio, 2 Cocoon GridIt, my wallet, stylus, hand sanitizer and keys. Padding is great, though added protection is always good. Downside is it doesn't have a dedicated ring holder, and being a vertical bag, your keys might get lost in the main compartments. Putting in the small or zipper pockets will make the flap bulge. I am disappointed that the stitching for one of the velcro has started to come off, and I only got this bag less than a month!

Ignoring the shortcomings, I don't regret buying this bag, but just be careful opening the flap.
