Just what I was looking for!
I purchased this case as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend who was in need of a new briefcase. I wanted something that was high quality but also in my price range. I thought I would have trouble finding something but then I saw this briefcase. It was just what I was looking for! He is very particular about his image so I'm always cautious when I buy something for him. I was worried about purchasing this sight unseen and ordered it in time so I could return it if need be. The item arrived before the stated delivery date. The briefcase was well packaged and even came in a dust cover! The leather is very soft and the stitching is perfect with no loose threads. The inside is very soft material and has a padded compartment that would protect your laptop or tablet. There are several other compartments for small items (pens, business cards, cell phone, etc) as well as additional areas for files and papers. So soft!
This is the perfect color (didn't want a "notice me" red!) and size. Carrying it doesn't make you look like a door-to-door salesman. The leather is soft and the entire brief is well made. Lots of nooks and crannies to put all your personal items that you would need.
Lovely Bag
This is a lovely bag and I get compliments on it. The leather is very soft and supple, but the finish is also soft. Every bump leaves a scar and the scars are very visable. I treated the bag before use with a silicone leather protectant and clean it with saddle soap. I will also polish it and learn to appreciate it with a "distressed" finash

Lovely, but not as comfortable to carry as I had hoped
I'm a grad student, and I really abuse my bags. On an average day I'm carrying my laptop, its charger, the 2 textbooks I use to teach, my own work (usually a legal pad and a sheaf of papers), plus whatever library books I've recently acquired. Because I got sick of buying cheap bags and having the shoulder straps fall off six months (tops) down the road, I decided to invest in something a little more expensive / a little sturdier. I also hate the clunky / ugly / giant space-age looking L.L. Bean-esque bags that are "feminine" because they have flowers on them and are pink, but that really just look like something a sixteen-year-old girl would use to carry her tuba to band camp. This bag seemed to be: a.) sturdy, and b.) pretty / professional, which means it fit what I was looking for, so I ordered it. And it is lovely. The leather is soft & of good quality. It is sturdily made, and after about 8 months of use, the only sign of wear it is showing is where I accidentally...

I edited this review, but apparently it didn't take. My original review was 1 star as the item didn't look like the picture at all. It turns out, the incorrect item was sent in the correct box. The situation has been remedied and I now have the correct item. The bag is beautiful, good stitching, sturdy, not too heavy, but solidly built. I bought it to hold my kindle and accessories, along with other items I take to work and it more than suits this purpose. My husband and I held his 15" laptop up to the bag and it looked like it would fit. I had stuff in the bag by then so we didn't try to put it in there. The link below is to the item I received. I am not taking any stars off the review as it doesn't really pertain to the item itself and the problem was remedy VERY quickly.

Perfect iPad bag
I have been looking for the perfect iPad bag and thought it would be easy. I spent many hours on-line at all of the laptop bag sites. The problem is nobody had anything in the size I wanted. Most bags are made for the 15" or 17" size. I already have a great Oakley bag for my 15" Macbook Pro, what I wanted was a smaller version of that. However, since I was searching for a small bag, I wanted it to be in leather. This Siamod bag arrived quickly and is absolutely perfect. It has all that I was looking for. A dedicated, protected area for the iPad. A section for folders/paperwork. An area in the back to slide onto a roller bag and enough other space for business cards, cords, keys, pens, passport, etc.

The leather is very soft, the color (cognac) is exactly what I wanted and the shoulder strap is padded and rubberized so it won't slide off. I just don't see how you can beat this bag for the money. I highly recommend this bag for either a 13" laptop (or smaller) and...
