Nice looking bag. Has a weakness.
I like this bag. I do. I've used it on a daily basis to carry my laptop since I got it three weeks ago.

However be warned that the buckles on the strap appear frail, and they do not quite hold the strap correctly. The loop which attaches the strap to the bag rotates 90 degrees from its intended orientation and does not hold the strap flat. Also the length adjustment buckle on the strap slips over time.

My 16:10 aspect 15.4 inch laptop just barely fits in the padded compartment. I'm not sure a newer wider 16:9 aspect 15.4 inch laptop would fit. The padding is not very thick, but I'm comfortable with it.

A nice bag for the money. I'll see how long it lasts.

Great, sturdy bag
not fancy, just a great, sturdy bag. Heavy-duty fabric, roomy enough for a laptop and a bunch of file folders.
Bookbag
A bit heavy for a bookbag but it works well for the computer. Able to carry it and all peripherals in the same bag and that saves space when traveling.

Nice bag!
Was a little concerned about buying this bag because the previous two reviews were mixed. Took a chance anyway. Haven't gotten to heavily use the bag yet, but so far it fits all my law school books and computer no problem. The front pockets are great and large enough to fit everything I need. I'll update this if things change, but so far great style and great bag!

When I read the review left before me, I was a bit scared to place the order, but it looked good online, so I thought I would give it a shot. I received it in a very timely manner and was pleased to see that it is all that the picture shows it as. I bought it as a Christmas present for my boyfriend and he loved it even more than I did. Would make an improvement
Basically I like the bag. It is slightly smaller than what I had expected. It is doable though. The biggest drawback is the buckle on the strap continually gets twisted. If it were a bit more heavy-duty, it would be great. I am using it for a school bag and can only hold my notebook and one large text-book at a time. I was hoping to not have to swap my books out. All in all, for the price it is good.

A Wrong Color
I really like this bag. It is the perfect size, and has the perfect size pockets for my stuff. Only downsides are that the item photo is of the khaki bag, which I wish I had gotten instead, and the strap is a little thin. I wish it was a detachable strap so I could buy a real nice one instead.

Decent bag, needs work.
Bag arrived in small parcel folded into mailbox. Expected a box, so I didn't actually get it until a day after delivery. This either ruined any rigidity the bag may have ever had, or more likely due to the canvas construction was never there.

I expected the inside to be canvas, instead it is a scratchy vinyl material. This is especially grating and noticeable on the opening flap. You have this beautiful canvas bag, then you open it and that black glossy scratchy sounding material ruins the illusion. Overall the bag seems cheaply assembled. While the canvas is durable, as it should be, The plastic clips, inside material, and carry strap are all of poor quality or bad material. Though special note should go to the stitching, which seems to be or rather good quality.

The front pocket's snap is difficult to open with one hand, and combined with the poor quality of the 'leather' strap that holds it I feel I'm going to rip the snap right off. Either a slightly less...

Nice Item, Arrived with a Tear at Seam
As I said in the title, I like this messenger bag; nice pockets and nice material. However...there is a tear in the seams in the front of the bag near the top zipper. This is going to be a bit of a pain to get fixed since it is on a corner and--of course--means three seams intersect at one spot.

I'm not a fan of having to pay my own return costs, so I guess you could add this review to the seller review as well. I should not have to pay to return a defective product...
Great Commuter Bag! [Edited]
This is my first messenger style bag and I really like it. I keep a couple of technical books for work, my lunch, gloves, phone, water bottle, etc. and there's still plenty of room left for many other things (like a laptop). I don't know how well it would work for school toting around 5 plus full sized text books, but it works perfectly for my commute to work and back.

My only complaint would be that I find myself having to adjust the strap once a day or so because the strap adjuster slides around a bit to freely.

EDIT: (4/18/2012) Last week, my bags main seatbelt style snap broke off. I wouldn't say i snapped it off roughly, but i wasn't paying attention and i guess it got away from me. Thems the breaks i guess. I feel like this bag was a little young for me anyway. I'm gonna look for something a little more grown up this time.
