Perfect iPad bag
I have been looking for the perfect iPad bag and thought it would be easy. I spent many hours on-line at all of the laptop bag sites. The problem is nobody had anything in the size I wanted. Most bags are made for the 15" or 17" size. I already have a great Oakley bag for my 15" Macbook Pro, what I wanted was a smaller version of that. However, since I was searching for a small bag, I wanted it to be in leather. This Siamod bag arrived quickly and is absolutely perfect. It has all that I was looking for. A dedicated, protected area for the iPad. A section for folders/paperwork. An area in the back to slide onto a roller bag and enough other space for business cards, cords, keys, pens, passport, etc.

The leather is very soft, the color (cognac) is exactly what I wanted and the shoulder strap is padded and rubberized so it won't slide off. I just don't see how you can beat this bag for the money. I highly recommend this bag for either a 13" laptop (or smaller) and...

Such a HUGE improvement over the 2011 model!
I'm becoming such a Timbuk2 aficionado, I'm beginning to wonder if I have a problem. I'm changing laptop bags more frequently than my wife changes purses.

Anyway... owning the 2011 Command bag (as well as the original Commute, the Timbuk2 Commute 2.0, and Timbuk2 D-Lux messenger), I was going to pass up this bag, because of my collection, I was most disappointed with my Command.

Well, everything I disliked about last year's Command has been addressed this year, and it's now a favorite of mine. The laptop sleeve has been redesigned to actually protect a laptop now, and the addition of the tablet sleeve is brilliant.

Impressive. Im hooked.
I am rough on my bags. My office is at a power plant, and I travel constantly. I put a lot of abuse on my bags. I have worn out many, many, laptop bags, computer cases, and backpacks dragging them around with me to all of these locations. I finally resorted to using a military backpack that was specially made for the US Army Rangers to use in Afganistan, that one seems to hold up, but it lacks that 'professional' look. (professional soldier YES, but not professional desk jockey)

I had the chance to try this bag out and I must say I am impressed. While it has not been put through the ringer for months on end yet, I can tell right away this is MUCH better than the rest of the laptop cases and computer bags I have used in the past. It is thick and heavy, sturdy stitched, comfortable, and roomy. This thing is great.

Command Messenger 2012 comparative review
The Command Messenger 2012 seems to me to be an excellent EDC (Every Day Carrier) for students and business folks with a caveat for some depending on there every day needs.

I started carrying the last gen D-lux laptop messenger bondage in medium. Overall it was a great bag with lots of room. For example you could carry a gallon of water and there was still a little room left in the width of the bag, so it was able to carry quite a sufficient load. The whole interior was visibly lined with TPU, so you don't mind putting things like shoes or other "messy"items inside the bag as it cleans out very nicely. The laptop sleeve in the back was a bit lack luster and the hight of the bag did limit the laptops that you could carry without having them pop out of the top a little. Additionally he compression straps on the bottom were a nice touch when you were carrying a smaller load for the day. GREAT!!!
This bag is wonderful. I use it for college and it holds all of my stuff. I haven't used the sleeve yet. I think that a net book or laptop might be a bit much if you have several books also, otherwise it works well and is a great color and fabric.
I've been using this bag for about six months now and it still looks new. Sometimes I use it expanded, but mostly not. Very pleased with the purchase.

Great little bag
I was desperate for something to replace my "falling apart" everyday purse. I hate a big bag, but do need to carry a wallet, glasses, cell phone, Swiss Army knife, keys, etc. I bought this one in a hurry as it was inexpensive and I figured I could find something else when I had more time. I have been pleasantly surprised by this little bag. It has a padded area that my iPad just fits into and has several different pockets and sections that help me find things easily. It could hold a LOT of stuff, but is nice and nonbulky when it isn't full. The color doesn't show dirt and I love the strap which can be long or shortened to half length easily, or removed entirely if you want.

Amazing Find
I was hesitant to get this bag after reading some of the other reviews. Let me clear a few things up, this bag is not the cream color that is pictured but more of a really dark off white. For the reviewer who said she could not fit her macbook in, or barely as I remember, mine fit just fine with a hard case on it but the bags are different sizes and are made for different size computers the small will fit a 13.3in computer with a hard case on it with plenty of room. With a computer inside there is not too much room left, but unless you are trying to bring your entire library with you, a few books and a notebook fit just fine. But this is the "small" version of the bag, if you think you will need more room opt for one of the two larger bags, but for me this bag works just fine.

Buyer beware-- color not as shown
I ordered the Sand color, as it looks almost like a cream color in the photo. It is really a tan/ gray in person. I was very disappointed. Please also be advised that I have a 13 inch MacBook Pro and with the sleeve on my bag (I have a BUILT sleeve), it just BARELY fit into the bag and made it near impossible to fit anything else in. I would say this is more for a netbook than a laptop because of the size. I am contemplating ordering the chocolate, but with the color being so drastically different than the photo, I am concerned the chocolate will be too. If you are looking for a tan bag, then this is the one for you.

Perfect size for iPad + folder/binder for papers
That's what I was looking for - something to carry my iPad plus a folder or thin binder for papers. With eBooks and other wonders of modern technology, that's all I normally need for the classes I teach these days. But dedicated iPad cases are usually too small for a folder or binder (haven't figured out a way to go *totally* paperless), other laptop bags tend to be bigger and bulkier than I want, and simple messenger bags tend to be flimsy and underpadded. I think this bag - the "Slim" model, "Small" size - nails it. Note the previous reviewer is talking about the "Extra Small" size. I'm sure it probably fits some 11" laptops, if not his/hers in particular. But it is definitely too small for a letter-sized folder or notebook.

Awesome bag for a 13" MacBook5,1
Bought this for my unibody MacBook5,1 (MB466). Love the notebook compartment's fleece lining and the panel that keeps the notebook safe from dented corners or zipper scratches. Snug fit for the MacBook, no room for sloppy travel within the compartment.

The easy access cell-phone pocket is neat: my Motorola Atrix 4G fits snugly, and seems like it would take a pretty deliberate effort for it to slide out. The interior also has one wall which is lined with a soft fleece-like panel to keep your phone's screen from getting scratched. I do think this pocket needed some sort of closure system (hook-loop? buttons?), though.

Kind of wish the organization panels were deeper or wider. Would have liked to fit the MB charger in a pouch, though it doesn't quite fit. But the bag looks great, and owes its slim profile to the other integral compact designs.
Perfect for my new 13 inch MacBook Pro!
It's slim and could easily slide into a large tote bag for school, but is sturdy and protective enough to stand on its own. The interior laptop pocket is extremely soft and couldn't possibly scratch anything. The cell phone pocket is perfect for my iphone 5. Love the front pocket. Holds my mouse, external hard drive and power cord perfectly. There's even a little extra room in the main pocket for a little extra, a notebook for instance. I LOVE IT!

Macbook Air Bag
Great bag - Fits MacBook Air 13" perfectly. There is a small insert in the bottom of the bag (extra cushion I assume) that needs to be removed for the best fit but I use that as a wedge at the top of the bag to keep the MBA from moving. I searched all over for a hard sided bag, since I use the Otter Box product for my iPhone and I like that level of protection. I was led to this product after seeing STM's messenger bag but the feedback said it would gap open and let water in and that is obviously not hard sided - Apple never mentioned this case in their website and I had to search STM's to find it. Very heavy duty, strong zippers etc. I also liked that they have a separate bag for accessories so the MBA does not get scratched up and I don't have to lug the accessories around if I don't need them. It comes with a little hook to attach to the main case but I went out and got one of those carabiner clips just because it is easier to take off and on. I've used it for a few months...
