Great Padfolio with two flaws
It's a great leather folio because it has a zipper, AND you can put an "ultrathin" keyboard of your choice into the padfolio, such as a Zagg or a Logitech! I've tried putting one of these keyboards into this padfolio without any problems. It's a snug fit but one can easily zip the case shut. Your iPad fits snuggly into a harness. You close a satin like materail over the Ipad harness and place your keyboard face down under the cover, close the padfolio and zip it shut.

The flaws are the sleep/awake magnet is too weak to automatically turn the iPad on/off. The solution is to go to a hobby/craft store and buy a stronger and bigger magnet about the size of a penny for $1.00. Place it over the cover's magnet and test it. If you are satisfied, tape it to the cover with double sided tape.

The other flaw is there is no hole in the cover below the iPad harness for the Ipad camera lens to peep out of so you can take a video or photo without completely removing the...

Nice Product!
This is a well made product that meets the needs of those of us who still want to have pen and paper handy. It's a little heavy to carry in a tote or handbag, but is perfect if you use it as a single, comprehensive organizer & iPad cover.

Wish I would have kept this one
This is a wonderful ladies' laptop bag! I returned mine because I thought it too big for my petite size. Well I have a bag now that is not as big, but it doesn't hold half as much as this one would have. On the inside it has I believe 3 loops for pens/pencils, about 3-4 slots for ID, credit cards, and/or business cards, fits a laptop of screen size 15.6" perfectly, and I believe it would hold up to the 16" size as well (as stated). I bought the one with a pretty purple liner in it. It has great padding for laptop, has roome for external mouse, flash drive, mouse pad, a 4port hub, a chill mat, and more. Could easily fit all of that and files with no problem. The 2 handle straps are sturdy and ajustable by one belt like secure buckle; which was perfect for me to have on the last hole because I am a full time student who carries the laptop bag, a regular purse, and of course my backpack. I believe I could have used this as an all-in-one bag. It definitely would have held my...

Good Bag
This bag looks good and professional. I bought it for my 15.6 inch laptop and it fits well. I can also carry other stuff in the same bag. I tried fitting in my 17 inch laptop in this bag and it fit perfectly. Initially I was thinking of carrying one laptop bag and one hand bag but now with this bag, I dont have to worry about carrying other one. Only concern I have is the height of the bag as it looks big.
Just the right size!
I just bought this bag for my new toshiba 15.6" laptop. It fits comfortably in its' place. The velcro holds it in place and there's still room for my other things. When I opened my amazon box my dad actually though it was real leather. It's an awesome bag, it's veryyyyyy pink inside, but I didn't want the other colors, so I'll manage lol. It's bigger than most bags but I'm 5'9 and I think it's more comfortable than most of my other purses.

Excellent bag but a warning
An excellent bag with one caveat. The bag is labeled as 15.4 inch, but it does not specify explicitly what size computer it will hold. The documentation included with the bag gives the dimensions of the computer compartment as 12 x 14 x 2. I recently acquired a 15 inch laptop. Its dimensions are 15 x 10. It barely fits. A 15 x 11 laptop wouldn't. If your computer will fit into it, I agree with the other reviews for the bag. It has good quality and is designed to conveniently hold a large number of accessories and other things. If the bag fits you'll love it. If it doesn't, you'll have to return it.

Highly Recommended
As a professional, I have always preferred a backpack over a briefcase or shoulder bag because a backpack is easier to carry a greater weight. My problem was that I have always been very embarrassed carrying around a canvas bag with business clothes. This leather backpack looks nice enough that I can get away with it. It is very well made, very sturdy, and stands up by itself. It has a great, roomy laptop computer compartment and enough other compartments to separate items without being overly complicated. Very easy to access whatever you want. My only complaint (very minor) is that I wish the interior was some other color besides tourquise (dark green would have been better). Other than that, a perfect, great looking, well made backpack and highly recommended.
Best one out there
I bought this bag several months ago because I was flying a lot for work. Even some of the airport security folks have commented on how nice it is. I use it now exclusively instead of a briefcase or other laptop case for work. It shows absolutely no wear and will probably get even better looking with age. If something ever happens to this one I'll buy a new one immediately.

Its durable and well built
I was thinking for the price this bag was going to be junk. To my happy surprise its a great bag. And huge too. It fits all my families books for our bible meetings with room to spare. My son even "rides" our book bag with no destruction.

Have had three of these since 2007
So far it is the best for space, and portability. However, the top flap cracks with in a year of use. I usually cover it with some black vinyl tape to make it last a little bit longer. But it looks like crap. Not replacing it this time.Solo Vinyl Rolling Catalog Case
Not very well made
I just received this case. It came damaged with a big gouge on the side along with cracked plastic that surrounds the hole the handle goes through. The telescoping handle doesn't stay up well. You put a little pressure on it and it slips all the way down. I had to return the case because of the damage and chose not to get a replacement because I found it too cheaply made.

Guality bag for 17 inch Laptop
This is a quality bag and I can say that with some degree of authority, as the day I put the computer in the bag...I lost my footing and actually dropped the bag! Horrified, I picked it up, went to the office and pulled the computer out...not one scratch. I am not suggesting this as any sort of test, but this bag is quality, and the padding appears to be adequate to actually protect the contents.
The strap is wide enough to be comfortable with the weight involved. The bag is large enough for the computer-though 17" is tight-it also holds my cooling stand, a wireless mouse and pad and other odds and ends that I need throughout the day in my working environment.
The bag looks good, and is rugged enough to take a bit of abuse and still protect its cargo. I would buy another one if the need ever arises. Quality at a great price.
I would have no problem recommending this bag to friends or family...in fact...I have.

nice bag
This is a great bag for the price. It came quickly and my 17inch Dell lap top fits snug but do not have to fight to get it in and out. Lots of room for cord and papers. Would recommend
17 inch laptop case
The item is of good quality and arrived in a timely manner. The dimensions given must be outside. I purchased this for my 17.3 inch laptop and it is a very tight fit in the section designed to pad the unit. It will work, but not easily. I am still happy with the case for the price, and I will not be transporting it often. For daily use I think it would be inconvienient.

Love it
Besides not looking like a laptop bag at all. I like the fact that there is enough space for my folders and even make up bag. Not having to carry two bags at the same time is a huge plus for me.

I get great compliments form other ladies as well. It does not weigh down my arms and shoulders.

I had this on my wish list and was going to buy it when I realized it said two different sizes and saw that even though the title of it and the link says 17.3 it does say padded section fits 16 inch laptops. Super disappointing.

LOVE THIS LAPTOP CASE!
This is a very sturdy case with substantial wheels and front "feet" so it stands firm and does not tip over when filled. It easily holds my 17" laptop plus a LOT of files and papers. There's plenty of room for the laptop cord, cordless mouse, calculator, pens, date book, note pads, and any other accessories you need. There are 4 separate zippered compartments:
(1) the main one which opens widely for easy access (has a separate area for laptop which then closes with velcro strap to keep it safe) and is quite large for files and 2 large pockets for cord, mouse, etc. (2) a large divided compartment for file folders, books, etc. (3) another compartment for files with pockets for accessories, pens, credit cards, note pads, etc. and (4) a large front zippered area for your plane tickets, book, wallet, etc. If you don't have many files, the main compartment could hold a change of underwear and toiletries and bottled water, snacks, etc.

Great Travel Case
This travel case met all of my needs, plus my 17" HP laptop fits into it very easily. It is well constructed and has plenty of room for all my stuff. It also fits underneath the seat on a plane so doesn't have to be put into the overhead. It is just wide enough to be able to be pulled up the center aisle if a plane, but if 1/2" wider would have to be carried aboard.
Well Designed Sturdy Case
A well designed sturdy case. Although not described anywhere the outside is a reinforced durable black fabric heavy duty zippers,and is good looking. It has a generous amount of storage capacity not only for a laptop but for other goods or a small change of clothes and a bathroom kit for an overnight stay. The only improvement would be to have the fabric a bit more water repellent, but you can take care of that yourself with some Scotchguard.

Love the design!
I have a 16 inch Sony VIAO, and many laptop bags that are allegedly for larger laptops are skimpy on space(I end up carrying another briefcase) or are too large and bulky. Not this bag. The bag is comfortable to carry, and I can carry it as a bag, or tuck a small handbag into it with my files as my business needs dictate. The compartments are well thought out, and the zippered sleeve that allows the bag to sit securely on my carry on or material cube handle is a home run. The bag works well to isolate your laptop, and it closes with a zipper that can be utilized or left open if you really pack stuff in. Also, the padded laptop area is up towards the top and has a Velcro strap that keeps the laptop secure.

The only negative I can state is the fake leather is REALLY rubbery and super fake feeling (and smells like rubber strongly when first purchased). Appearance is good, and for the price I did not expect actual leather. I am tough on bags, and this seems to take the...

Love the bag...but not the nylon "back-side"
I saw this bag in a smaller size at one of the national office supply stores, and I loved it. I resisted buying because bigger would have been better and the price was high.

Came home and checked out Amazon--and of course, found what I thought was the same bag (it was the same brand) in a bigger size for less money.

I love the soft leather and dark brown color. I love the vertical design. I love the size--as a teacher, its perfect for toting home folders full of student's papers to grade and still have room for my wallet and what-nots, so I only have to carry one bag. The straps are the perfect length to carry the bag on my shoulder.

However, I was very disappointed that the "back-side" of the bag is nylon--the side shown in the picture that fits over the handle of a suitcase. Makes sense for a frequent traveler to have the durability of nylon, but I purchased it to use primarily as an oversized purse/tote bag, I was expecting and would have preferred...
Great Bag
My MacBook Pro fits perfectly. I've been searching for a professional looking tote to carry my 17" MacBook for a long time. This tote actually looks better than I anticipated. The outer sleeve fits on luggage handle for traveling and when zipped closed, makes a convenient extra outer pocket.
