The front design isn't as plastic-like, like some people mentioned. It is actually pretty nice and not as bright and flashy. I'm happy I actually chose this over another design. I'm in college and I probably act more like a kid than anybody else I know, so I say that the bag suits me just fine, and its not overwhelming that I couldn't bring the bag to something professional or to a college atmosphere environment.
I have a 15.6" Asus Laptop and its pretty big. Like the other reviews, the laptop will fit in the compartment next to the padded compartment for the laptop. Absolutely Perfect Laptop Bag Must Buy
I purchased this bag for my Mac book and I was surprised to see that inside the main compartment there is actually a separate laptop sleeve that I can slide my laptop into perfectly. This kept my laptop from moving around inside of this bag during transportation and anything else from touching it. It looks very nice and goes with everything that I have as it's a simple black and white with a great creative design. Unlike a lot of the other laptop bags this one has two pockets in front that contains pen holders, cell phone holder, extra compartments and even a place I can fit my wallet so I don't have to carry my purse when I carry this with me. The inside flap is extremely soft and feels great unlike some other bags I've owned, it's a soft corduroy material and the strap is wonderful as it's a sued material that does not let it slip off your shoulders. It's absolutely a great buy and I would recommend this laptop bag for any of my friends.

I figured I should write a review since I spent so long reading all the reviews on this kind of bag and was unsure my laptop would fit in the laptop pocket. I have an HP Pavilion dv6 with a 15.6 inch screen. I learned that even though various laptops may have the same size screen, their dimensions can vary a good bit. My HP's dimensions are 14.88" (W) x 9.71" (D) x 1.23" (min H)/1.39" (max H), and I really don't think anything much wider or significantly thicker would fit in this bag's laptop pocket very well. It's true that the laptop pocket is probably a good inch smaller than the 16" width listed for this bag. I did need to take it out and put it back in to stretch out the pocket slightly when I got it, and I slide the laptop in thinner end first, but my laptop does fit in the laptop pocket. I am 5'9" and I have no worries about the strap. It is a nice bag and looks just like the picture. I was definitely nervous about whether my laptop would fit, and I'm glad that it will work...
