I absolutely love this bag. My 17.3" ASUS gaming laptop fits snugly in the laptop sleeve. It pokes out the top about an inch and half, but the elastic and velcro strap keeps it in the sleeve nicely. And when the flap of the bag is down and velcro'ed closed it's not an issue.
This bag does not have tons of extra space, but I have three notebooks, a set of art pencils, an assortment of cords, headphones, batteries, mouse, mousepad and the power cord for my laptop all snugly packed into it.
The handle for this bag is located in the back pocket, so if you carry the bag using this handle the load is not balanced, but if you are not going to carry this bag via that handle it should not be a problem. I use to handle to take the bag from my shoulder to the table and it works. You just have to place it on the table so it doesn't fall forward when you let go.

This bag is really great. It fits my 17.3 inch laptop and I am so glad. I had tried other bags but this one is great. It has the take out sleeve to keep your laptop safe if you need to pack it in a larger bag. I'm so glad a stylish bag was available for my large laptop! Thanks!

Roomy with lots of pockets for accessories, Big bag easily holds a 17.3" laptop and provides adequate protection during travel. A tad bulky.
